What's Different About J&S?
Our team thrives on providing top-notch service to customers. After beginning as a carpenter, our founder Shawn Bayley ventured out on his own to create a construction business that was different. With J&S, it isn't about the markup; it's about the customer service and experience. We stand behind our work and that means each and every nail, board, or brick that's a part of your project. Our biggest goal is to ensure that you're happy with your renovation or new build. Who is J&S? Family owned and operated, is what we live by. Shawn Bayley has been a licensed carpenter for over 20 years. Alongside his wife, Josée Bayley, our office manager, and their son Nick, Shawn works hard each and every day to provide customers with the best contracting experience around. Shawn graduated from the carpentry program at Algonquin College back in the early 1990s and started off as a carpenter’s assistant. He quickly moved up the ladder to Jr carpenter, and then to site supervisor positions. After a several years working as a site supervisor, Shawn decided to start his own renovation company. He started off taking on smaller jobs such as bathroom renovations, flooring, decks and fences. Word got around quickly in the city about Shawn’s quality work and affordable prices. The smaller jobs became much bigger; full kitchen renovations, basement finishing, and custom home construction. After visiting friends in Niagara, both Shawn & Josée fell in love with the area and decided to move and make Niagara their home. J&S since has become a household name for locals in NOTL and we have expanded to all surrounding areas within the Niagara Peninsula. |
